Updated 2/9/2020 – The SE F@E is a great bike for the experienced mountain biker who wants to push a little further or the new adventurer who will ride in sand or snow. Its large tire, aggressive stance, and premium brakes give you great control as you go anywhere and everywhere.
The F@E weighs the same as the steel framed ICT according to SE’s specs, but the SE feels much heavier than the Surly, and the Surly is a size up from the SE. With all the broken parts I had to replace on the SE, I think I had close to as much money in it as I have in the ICT.
